Sheila Lee's Obituary
Services for Sheila Lee, 61, will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the First Assembly of God Church, 2025 N. Houston St., Livingston, TX. Burial will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan, TX. Mrs. Lee was born March 2, 1959, in Lufkin and died January 28, 2022, in Katy, TX.
Sheila McCloud was born March 2, 1959, in Lufkin, Texas to the late General Lee McCloud, Jr. and Doria Lee McCloud. She is the oldest of the couple's five children together. Sheila attended school in Corrigan ISD, where she excelled both academically and athletically. Sheila graduated Class of 1977 from Corrigan High School, Corrigan, TX.
After high school, Sheila studied business administration.
Years later, she pursued a degree in nursing, becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in 1994 and obtaining an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in May of 1996 from Angelina College in Lufkin, TX. Sheila worked as a Registered Nurse for 26 years. Her favorite areas to work in are Mental Health, Medical-Surgical, and Labor and Delivery. She was most proud of her family, especially, her children and grandchildren.
Our beloved left her earthly home behind on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Memorial Hermann
Hospital in Katy, Texas. Sheila was preceded in death by her lovely parents, General (J-Boy)
McCloud, Jr. and Doria McCloud; grandparents, Johnny and Teresa Loyd, Napoleon and Ora Davis, and General McCloud, Sr.; special aunt, Edith Spikes; uncle, Joseph Loyd, Sr., and mother-in-law, Adell Farley.
