Services for Steven Cornellia Burney, 48, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lee Shiloh Cemetery in Price, TX.Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00p.m. at the funeral home.Steven Cornellia Burney was born to Dorothy Faye Austin and Emmitt Johnson in Cherokee County, Texas, April 24, 1970.
He attended the Lufkin Independent School District and resided in Lufkin, Texas. During his early life, Steven had been employed at Grace Care Nursing Facility and later other various jobs. He also attended the Church of Christ in Lufkin, Texas.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Freddie Burney and Charles Johnson.
On June 14, 2018, Steven Cornellia Burney departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.
