Service for Ta'Varis R. Jones, 36 in Lufkin, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mr. Jones was born on July 7, 1987, in Lufkin, and died on Friday, January 5,2024, in Lubbock, TX.
Ta'Varis Raymonn Jones, was born to the parentage of Tabatha Jones Hamilton and Alexander Hamilton on July 7, 1987, in Lufkin, Texas.
He grew up in Lufkin, Texas, and attended Lufkin High School with the Class of 2006. Ta'Varis attended O'Quinn Church of Christ with his family growing up. Ta'Varius passion was drawing, writing poetry, and rapping. His true joy was spending time with his children. He loved spending time with his family. He was a true jokester and loved to make people laugh and smile. Ta'Varis was a loving and kind father, son, brother, cousin, and friend.

Three children: Tra'Naya, Ta'Varis Jr., and A'Myrakie Jones of Weatherford Texas; Mother, Tabatha Hamilton of Lufkin, Texas; Siblings ,NaQuae McDonald of Lufkin, Texas, Alexander (Jacqueline) Jones of Houston, Texas, Jyles (Porsche) Jones of Nacogdoches, Texas; Grandmother, Girth' Jones of Lufkin, Texas; Uncles, Darryle (Debbie) Jones, and Roy Jones all of Lufkin, Texas, Anthony Hamilton of Houston, Texas; Aunts, Lillie (Carlton) Teal, Sandra (Kenneth Martin) all of Lufkin, Texas; Cousin brothers, Jaye Wofford and Norris McClendon Jr.; A host of cousins and friends.
Ta'Varis was preceded in death by: His father, Alexander Hamilton; Grandmother, Ruby and grandfather, Alton Hamilton; Aunt, Dorothy Jones.
