Funeral services for Tarius JoWayne Johnson, 25, of Lufkin will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Mr. Johnson was born on January 29, 1996, and died Friday, September 24, 2021, in Lufkin.
Tarius Johnson, born the only child of Gwendolyn Johnson and Jimmy Cole in Lufkin, Texas on January 29, 1996.
He graduated from Lufkin High School with the Class of 2014. Tarius worked for Pilgrim's Pride of Lufkin, Texas. He had a passion for cooking and loved to barbeque with his father. He was a Gamer (loved playing Video Games). Tarius also wanted to be a welder, like his uncle.
Tarius Johnson was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Ann Johnson; His uncle, Cedric Dewayne Johnson, and Patrick Johnson.
