Services for Tennie Mae Ballard, 62, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, December 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Greater Shiloh Baptist Church, 1519 Williams St., Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens.
Tennie Ballard, was born on October 2, 1956 to the parentage of the late Eva Lee Polk and Ben Lee in Henderson, Texas.
She attended Henderson High School in Henderson, Texas. She attended the Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and was Baptist faith. Her employment was with the Boys and Girls Club where she served as a Foster Grandparent in Lufkin, Texas. Tennie loved to spend qualitytime with her children, grandchildren and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and dear friends.
On January 1, 2019 life came to a close for Tennie Mae Ballard in Henderson, Texas.

Two daughters whom she loved very much, LaKeythia (Harold) Jones of Humble, Texas and Nancy Barnes of Lufkin, Texas;
Grandchildren, Tajia LaTaiya, Kalen, Javien, and Josiah Jones all of Humble, Texas; Alton, Kobye and Malike Jones all of Lukfin, Texas; A sister, Vera Rodney) Fletcher of Henderosn, Texas; Brothers, Jason Polk and Robert (Margaretha) Polk of Henderson, Texas; A wealth of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving and caring friends.
