Graveside services for Velt Brown, 66 of Lufkin will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.Velt Bernard Brown, was born on December 7, 1957 in Lufkin, Texas, the oldest of all of his siblings.
Velt resided in Lufkin, Texas and attended th Lufkin Independent School District, graduating with the Class of 1976. After graduation, Veltjoined the Un ited States Marines. He was a great husband, father, and "PaPa" to his grand and great-grandchildren.
Velt enjoyed playing dominoes, and watching his favorite NFL football team the Philadelphia Eagles. He had been employed as a Taxi Driver and a Security Guard. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
On April 1 8, 2024, Velt Bernard Brown made his transition from this earthly life to his eternal home.
Velt is survived by: His wife, Donna Brown; Sons, Velton Kirksey (Vickie), Tyson (Laterica); Daughters, Rotanya Brown and Mia Raye Brown; Brothers, Michael Brown (Alesha), Craig Brown; Sisters,
Kathy Stein (Billy), Savathia Brown (Terry), Alrenea Brown and Rita Brown; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: His father Roosevelt Brown; Mother, Jessie Faye Brown.
