Services for Vera Taylor,76, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 1 p.m., in the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, 217, S. Warren St., Lufkin Tx. Mrs. Taylor was born May 25, 1943, in Oakdale, LA, and died January 15, 2020, in Lufkin.
Vera Taylor was born on May 25, 1943, to the parentage of Justin Boutte and Fannie Jones Hall in Oakdale, Lousiana.
Vera resided in Oakdale, Louisiana doing her childhood, where she received her formal education. Later she relocated to De Ridder, Louisiana, moving to East Texas where she has resided for the past ten years.
Vera was religiously affiliated with Mt. Beulah Baptist Church where she was a member under the leadership of Pastor Troy L. Allen. Her livelihood consisted of her devotion to her husband, family, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and her dedication to being a Homemaker. She was an avid cook and loved to spend quality time with her husband, family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her husband, daughter, grandchildren, siblings, and extended family.
On January 15, 2020, Vera Mae Taylor made her transition from her earthly home to her eternal Heavenly Home.

James) of Alexandria, Louisiana; Brother, Herman Hall (Sharon) of Houston, Texas; Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
