601 N. 2nd Street, Lufkin, Texas 75901 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held on Friday April 17, 2026 at Church of Christ Jesus 1701 Sayers Street, Lufkin, Texas, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00.pm. Supervisor Verdia Mae Bennett Shankle was born on January 4, 1945 in Groveton, Texas, and died April 9, 2026 In Lufkin, Texas.
Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery FM 2251 @ Jackson Rd., Lufkin, Texas.
