Verna Blount's Obituary
Services for Verna Blount, 56, of Diboll will be held Saturday, January 6,2017 at 12:00 noon in the First Shiloh Baptist Church, 100 Pine St., Diboll, TX. Burial will follow in the Forest Haven Cemetery in Diboll. Visitation is Friday from 6:00 p. m. till 8:00 p. m. at Colonial Mortuary.
Verna Blount was born June 29, 1961 in san Augustine Tx to Ella Marie Deason and the late Oscar Ree Davis. Verna loved the Lord, she joined First Shiloh Baptist Church here in Diboll Tx at an early age, but later moved her membership to The Church of the Living God, Diboll TX. She was a graduate from Diboll High School. She worked at Lufkin Daycare, and Diboll Prison for many years as a Cook. Verna worked as a Home Healthcare specialist where she was the private care taker for Maude Marshall(Camden TX), until she departed us.
