Funeral services for W.M. Holman,72, of San Augustine will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at 11 a.m., in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church located on 626 FM 353 in San Augustine Tx. Burial will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery in San Augustine Tx. Visitation scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2020, from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in San Augustine Tx.
W.M. Holman, was born September 5, 1948, to the parentage of Willis and Ester Mae (Handy) Holman. He was the oldest of six siblings.
W.M. attended Hemphill Independent School District. He accepted Christ and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church and remained faithful until his health failed. He worked at a Logging Mill for many years. W.M. was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
On October 15, 2020, W.M. Holman departed this life in San Augustine, Texas.
He leaves to cherish his memories: One son, Lonnie B. Roberts (Holman), Center Texas; Grandson, Lonnie Roberts, Jr.; Six sisters, Ella Holman, Angie Holman of San Augustine, Texas, Sandra Blount, Lufkin, Texas, Judy Bennett, Denver, Colorado, Annie Jenkins (Eric Jenkins) and Iris Jones, Nacogdoches, Texas; Two brothers, Vernon Holman, Sr., San Augustine, Texas and Freddrick Davis, Rosevine, Texas; Aunt, Siscile Rodgers (Rev. Clois Rodgers..deceased), San Augustine, Texas; One uncle, Verdell and Earline Holman, San Augustine, Texas; Extended sisters and brothers, John L. Handy (Rosie) Houston, Texas, Robert Rodgers, San Augustine, Texas, Lola Rodgers Miller (Ira), Dorothy Rodgers Nobles (Floyd), Joyce Rodgers, Judie Rodgers-Caraway (Rayford), Linda Rodgers Wilson (Clinton) all of San Augustine, Texas, Paul Rodgers (Kimberly) Nacogdoches, Texas. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
