Tribute To
Mr. William Bunn, Sr.
Of all beautiful things in life, the most beautiful is character. He who possesses a beautiful character is worthy of notice, the highest tribute that can be paid to any man is that he was loved by his fellowman. Truly, this is the sentiment of all of us who knew and worked for this noble man who was loved and respected by all of us. He of whom I speak of is Mr. William Bunn, Sr.
This is our sentiment of those who knew this gallant and noble gentleman, citizen, son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, entrepreneur, and civic leader of the Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas community.
With a lasting gratitude for his exemplary life, his tireless and unselfish labor among us the good he did the things he taught us and the inspiration we imbibed, we dedicate these words to our hero. He was a friend, a father, an example to us all. He taught us about life, how to work on a job and stay there, how to interact with people, how to be a man. His teachings kept some of us out of prison/jail, kept some of us in school. He was a hard worker and taught us how to work. He encouraged us to work and stay in school and to be a real man.
We loved Mr. William Bunn his memory will ever live in the hearts and minds of those who knew him. To his family wife, children daughter and son, William Jr., and grands the entire Bunn family may you emulate the good qualities he had. We the former employees of William Bunn Sr., express our sincere sympathy to the family of Mr. William Bunn Sr. God Bless and keep you is our prayer.
