William Henry Jenkins' Obituary
Services for William "Bill" Henry Jenkins, 69, formerly of Lufkin will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the Long Chapel C.M. E. Church, 514 Lining St., Lufkin, Tx. at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow
in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins was born June 11, 1944 to Annie Jackson and F. J. (Slim) Jenkins.
Bill attended Brandon Elementary and Dunbar High School. He Earned his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University. After graduation , Bill began his career
employed General Electric (GE) as an Electrical Engineer. His Career spans a course of 39 years
as a national and international engineer. He serviced projects in various countries : Saudi Arabia,
China, Italy, Spain, Germany, and Korea were only a few. Bill excelled in his career; achieving multiple awards and recognitions for outstanding performance. October 2009, Bill officially retired,
but he continued servicing GE as a consultant until December 2012.

Diallo Carey (Lori), Jana Tierre- Antoine (Jeff), Stepchildren: Reginald Pendergrass and Roslyn Pendergrass-McDonald, Siblings: Archie Cornish, Eddie Jenkins, Annie Dorsey, LaFrancis
Jenkins, F. J. Jenkins, Terry Bronson and Bobbie Jenkins.
