Willie Ayres Davis' Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Ayres Davis, 98, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Greater Shiloh Baptist Church . Rev. Derrick White will be the Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p. till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis was born May 12, 1918 to the late Benjamin Franklin and Arizona Ayres in Larissa, Texas. She departed this Life on June 23, 2016 in Lufkin, TX.
Mrs. Davis resided in Tyler, TX. where she retired from Medical Center Hospital as the Housekeeping Supervisor. After her retirement she returned to Lufkin to be close to her family.
Survivors: Sons, Ronald D. Davis, Thomas G. Davis and Donald Davis of Lufkin, TX.; Daughter,
Anna L. Davis, Marilyn J. Banks, Willie M. Davis: 17 grandchildren: A wealth of great-grandchildren
