Willie Ethel Faulk's Obituary
Services for Willie E. Faulk, 64, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Impact Outreach Ministries, 440 FM 2021, Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Willie Ethel Faulk was born February 2, 1954 to Wille Mae Jones and Reynold Lee Faulk in Bothan, Alabama. She confessed and affirmed a belief in Christ as her Lord and Savior, fellowshipping with any Denomination of Churches but was a member of the West End Church of Christ for numerous years until she joined the New Zion Baptist Church, Lufkin, Texas. She was a faithful and active member of the Churches and throughout the Community.
Willie acquired a dedicated work ethic that she exemplified throughout her lifetime.
She labored devotedly as a Beautician for numerous of years. She attended Lufkin Public Schools and was a graduate of Lufkin High School Class of 1973. Together we may acknowledge and share both our joy in Our Gift from God and God’s Gift returned to him.
Willie was out-going and loved the Children. She believed in training them in the way they should go according to their God-given Gifts. Yet, when needed, she would whip and punish them as well as give good advice.
The World may not acclaim her as someone “Noteworthy” but we all know deep down, a jewel of great price was given to our family by our Awesome God! Willie is the Matriarch of our Family and leaves to cherish her memories are: father: Reynold Lee Faulk, son: Edward “P-Nut” Earl Ash, Jr, daughter: Charlotte Swindle, God-daughter: Shalonda Darden and God-son: Jerome Gardner. Sisters: Shirley McKelvey, Lufkin, Texas, Mary (John) King, Dothan, Alabama, Pamela Faulk-Tharpe, Dothan, Alabama, Rinzo Faulk, New Haven, Connecticut, Bernard (Devon) Faulk, Marietta, Georgia and Kenya (Adrian) Lawrence, Lithonia, Georgia. Three Grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews Relatives and Friends. She was preceded in death by Mother, Willie Mae Jones, sister, Loretta White, brothers, Andrew Faulk, Anthony White and Freddie White.
