Willie Beatrice Hines' Obituary
Services for Willie Hines, 92, of Diboll will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in the Shiloh Baptist Church, 100 Pine St., Diboll, TX. Burial Will follow in the Diboll Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in the Church of the Living God, 1002 Cypress St. ,Diboll, TX.
Willie Beatrice Williams (Willie B.) was born in Sabine County (Brownland, Texas) on April 8, 1926 to Isabella Hardin Williams and Kenzie Eddie Williams. She attended the Brownland community school where she played on the basketball team. She later moved to Pineland, met and married Isaac Hines. There she was a member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Hines and family later moved to Seven Oaks, Texas and Diboll, Texas. She joined the Church of the Living God in Diboll where she was a faithful member for many years, serving as Choir President, Pastor's Aide committee member and Mother of the Church. She transitioned to her heavenly home on January 20, 2019.
Mrs. Hines enjoyed fishing, gardening and BINGO, and loved watching Family Feud, Let's Make-A Deal TV game shows and sports. She was lovingly known as Madea, 'Muh', Bigmama and "Queen B." by her family. She was a strong, resilient woman with a great sense of humor who loved the Lord and held close relationships with her grandchildren. Most of all, Mrs. Hines was well known for sharing and imparting a multitude of wisdom, truths and straight-forward, but loving advice. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are: Three sons: Rev. Curtis Lee Hester (Ida), Jimmy Lee Hunt, Isaac Lee Hines, Jr. (Vergie); Three daughters: Minnie Lou Swanagan, Connie Guillory, Susan Mitchell (Albert); 15/6randchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren and a wealth of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Hines was preceded in death by her parents: Kenzie Eddie and Isabella Williams; Husband: Isaac Hines; Daughter: Judy Hines Henderson; siblings: Annie B. Williams Thomas, Joseph Williams, Ethel B. Williams Knighton, Sam Williams, Senia Williams Lacy, Kenzie Williams, Jr., Ertha Williams Sparks.
