Willie Lee Kennedy's Obituary
Services for Willie Lee Kennedy, 69, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, June6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon till time of services. Mr. Kennedy was born September 11, 1949 in Rusk, TX. and died May 29, 2019 in Lufkin, TX.
Willie worked for many years in the refinery and service industry in the Lufkin area. He was known to be a kind and generous person to those in need of help. Willie was also gifted with his hands and loved to quilt and repair furniture.
Willie is preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Barnes, mother Rosie (Rosalee) Barnes, Aunt E. Z. Perry, Uncle Clemi Barnes.
Willie is survived by his wife Debra Thomas Kennedy, three sons, Jacob Thomas of Killeen Texas, Thomas Jenkins Kennedy of Tyler Texas, Jethro Maxie Kennedy of Lufkin Texas. Willie is also survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Marie Kennedy, three grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
