Graveside service for Winford Jones, 70, of Lufkin is scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday ,October 29,2022 in the Davis Memorial Gardens.
Winford Earl Jones was born on July 26, 1952 in Houston, Texas to the late Joe J. Jones and Mable Lee Renfro Jones.
Winford resided in Lufkin and attended the Lufkin Independent School District. He was employed for 13 years by Lufkin Industries and was a faithful employee. He resided at Innovated Homes and attended the Workshop there. Winford loved the Lord and loved singing. He attended Our Fathers House where he enjoyed attending. He will be greatly missed by his family, and will forever be in our hearts.
On October 23, 2022, a quiet and peaceful life came to a close for Winford Earl Jones, at Kennedy Health and Rehabilitation in Lufkin, Texas.

His brothers, John Jones and Donald Jones of Lufkin, Texas; Sisters, Betty Jo Jones-Caldwell, Rose Jones-Tieuel and Brenda Jones of Lufkin, Texas and Barbara Jones-Coleman of Houston, Texas; Two nieces, Dundra Tieuel- Hollins and Kimberly Tieuel; Two nephews, Michael Caldwell and Willie Tieuel of Lufkin; a great-nephew, Calen Hollis of Houston, Texas; Two great-nieces, Miah Williams of Lufkin and Ravyn Hollis of Houston, Texas; A host of cousins, friends and other extended family.
Winford was preceded in death by: His parents, Joe and Mable Jones; Grandparents, L.W. and Ollie Wheeler.
