Yothello Crain's Obituary
Services for Yothell Crain, 73, will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Yothello was born January 16, 2023, in Lufkin and died October 12, 2023, in Plano, TX.
On October 12, 2023, our Lord and savior called His angel home to rest. She was born on January 16, 1950, in Lufkin, Texas at Woodland Heights Hospital to the late Bessie M. Ballard.
She attended Dunbar High School in Lufkin, Texas, where she was a drum major and played the flute. As a youth, she attended Memorial CME Chapel in the Cedar Grove Community. Yothello gave birth to two beautiful children, Andre Crain and Kimberly Crain. She enjoyed watching old movies, knitting, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family. While we will miss her deeply, we know: "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. " Il Corinthians 5:8

Yothello is preceded in death by: Her grandparents, O.C. Crain and Lucy Crain; Mother, Bessie Crain Ballard; Brother Joe Lee Ballard.
