Zabrina Mathis' Obituary
Services for Zabrina Mathis, 54, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden. Visitation is Friday from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary.
Zabrina Mathis was born on December 6, 1967, to the parentage of the late Louise Daniel and George Horn in Lufkin, Texas.
Zabrina was the most loving, caring, kind, and generous person you could meet. Those who knew her were privileged to have known her. She would give you her last. Zabrina loved her family dearly and made it a priority to be a part of every family function. She was the life of the party. She enjoyed playing pool and dominoes.
She attended the Lufkin Independent School District and later attended the Job Corp. Her religious affiliation was with the Overcomers Through Faith Church, where she was a member. She always spoke highly of her Church Family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
On August 20, 2022, Zebrina Mathis-Mark departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.
She is preceded in death by Her mother, Louise Johnson; Brothers, David Mathis, Kevin Fisher, Dexter Johnson, Doniel Horn, Christopher Gilder; Husband, Samuel Mark; Grandparents, Lula Johnson and Rufus Johnson.
