Funeral services for Joe Hadnot,68, of Houston will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden. Mr. Hadnot was born on July 16, 1952, in Lufkin, died on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, in Houston.

Joe was an advocate for helping people with disabilities, (physical and mental) function in society. His life career specialty included motivating others to make positive life changes. He often shared his personal testimony to give hope of a better life to others.
Joe was a loving husband, father, provider, and friend. He knew the joy and the true meaning of "unconditional love."

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lee and Odessa Hadnot, sisters, LaNell Holman and Rosiland Murphy, brothers, Robert Joe Hadnot and Paul Anthony Hadnot, mother-in-law, Nadine Johnson, special niece, Denita Hadnot, and special nephew, Reginald Shankle.
A person of great intellect and knowledge of the sports world will be missed by many!
