Patricia Bordie
Dear Ms. McVey, I used to work with your Mother Yvette at the Area Agency on Aging in Austin. My name is Patty Bordie. I wanted to send my deepest sympathies for your immense loss. Your mother was a generous spirit who gracefully served others, always with a smile and great care. She was a lover of life who treasured every moment, especially those with you, her beloved daughter and best friend. She had an amazing sense of style, we all loved seeing each new outfit. The way she tirelessly cared for her Mother and shared her experiences was much appreciated by other family caregivers we served. My fondest personal memory was at a conference sharing music (70s and 80s) and dancing all night at a BBQ event. Her smile and style lit up the space. With her unbelievable loss we are all reminded to cherish every moment of our precious time on Earth. I hope the moments you shared with your beloved Mother and Best Friend will help bring comfort in the days ahead. I am certain that someone who lived life so large shall faithfully continue to support you deep in your heart and soul. God Bless you, your family and the many friends who mourn her loss. Sending strength and comfort, Patty
